Is watermarking your photos a waste of time?

I have just read this article on Pro Food Blogger called "Why I Stopped Watermarking My Food Photographs".  It certainly gave me food for thought.  What do you think - will you stop?

  1. Thank you for recommending the article about Watermarking, Carole! It is time consuming, and I have two blogs, with different names (English / Finnish), so I'we do double watermarking ... It's been in my mind to stop using watermarks for a while already, but now I'll definitely stop using my time for that :-)
Your post came just at the right time for me - confirming in someway and lessening the doubts I had about this issue - Thanks so much!
And sunny days to your coming week,
    Nina

  5. Never! Watermarking has deterred 95% of theft in my case it also serves as a means of gaining online exposure.I now use a software called Mass Watermark to process my photos in batch, makes it easy to do time consuming work
